The power of scent is extraordinary. The olfactory system is the only nerve that travels straight to our brain. It conjures up the past, with vivid memories and emotions.

I wanted to create a candle brand that not only looked and smelt luxurious but had the fragrance power to create a truly immersive experience. They are designed with more than a passing nod to yesteryear, to take you on a journey back to a gentler time. Each candle is inspired by the grandeur of the past with its room unlocking the scent found inside. For example, the richness of the Library combines age-old books, wood panelling and a waft of tobacco from a gentleman’s pipe. The deeply smokey aroma of burning logs in the drawing room or the wonderful citrus notes found in the Orangery.

Our candles look at home in both period and contemporary spaces.  We use natural plant waxes to minimise sooting and a delicious fragrance load to give a wonderful scent throw, without the toxicity found in many paraffin and synthetic candles.

The fragrances chosen rekindle another era, to transport you back in time. Scents as timeless as they are current. All our candles are cruelty-free and vegan friendly.
